Hi,

how can I change the system that it produces a QR Code instead of an EAN Code?

Hello,

the component uses module to generate the EAN code images. So the solution is to replace this module by some other that can generate the QR code. If the QR code reader fill the number in the input-box, the ticket checking should works correctly.
This could be done as custom modification for you.
