jDownloads is not working after installing JOOMSEF 11 years, 3 months ago #35724

Hello,

Since I installed JOOMSEF on my site, I can't download anything in jDownloads. If i turn off every JOOMSEF extension, the downloads are working again.

I changed the settings in "Manage Extensions" part, modified jdownloads to "Default Joomla! router" handler, or even turned SEF off for the component, but it is not working.

Can you please help me how to solve this problem? It is very urgent since there are a lot of hundred downloads on my site.

Hi,

What exactly happens when you try to download the file in jDownloads? Is there any error message displayed?

What versions of Joomla, JoomSEF and jDownloads do you use please?

I've tested these versions on my server and downloading works fine for me with both the "Default Joomla router" setting and "Don't SEF" setting.

Please post a screenshot of the error or a link where I can check it myself.

Try also changing the handling to "JoomSEF basic rewriting" - that way the generated links will be stored in JoomSEF's URLs Manager so we can examine them further.
