TOPIC: zoo extension: zoo submission links

zoo extension: zoo submission links 12 years, 6 months ago #28907

every menu link i make for zoo submission forms point to only one form when im trying to make about 20 different forms. right now to fix this i have to manual change each one in the joomsef backend. is this a bug that could be fixed the next zoo extension update?

other than that this zoo extension has been a blessing! thank you.

Hi,
Could you please post a few examples of those URLs? Please post the SEF URL and corresponding Real URL when they're generated by JoomSEF and after you fix them. Thank you.

not sure what the first two below are but the last three are the submission pages for 3 different "types" within the business directory. they should each be different for example "example1/submission" and "example2/submission" and "example3/submission"

this is a little confusing for my because the real urls look complicted and there are other more complicated urls that point to the same thing "example/submission. im not sure how 20 different urls could all share the same sef url. could this be a bug or do you think i misconfigured the zoo extension? have you been successful in making sef urls for submission links???

examples:

example/submission ->
index.php?option=com_zoo&layout=mysubmissions&page=2&submission_id=3&view=submission&Itemid=153

example/submission ->
index.php?option=com_zoo&layout=mysubmissions&page=3&submission_id=3&view=submission&Itemid=153

example/submission ->
index.php?option=com_zoo&layout=submission&view=submission&Itemid=350

example/submission ->
index.php?option=com_zoo&layout=submission&view=submission&Itemid=349

example/submission ->
index.php?option=com_zoo&layout=submission&view=submission&Itemid=348

also, in the event that one fills out the submission form wrong, the redirect goes back to the main sef "example/submission".

this is for the submission pages that i fixed but the redirects are wrong in this case. i cant keep up with the incorrect sef urls. this is getting too intense for my skill level but im trying to provide with enough information so you might be able to solve this.

in the mean time im trying to find a quick solution. maybe i could delete all the submission sef urls and they will magically start working correctly, or maybe there is a way to cancel the def urls on submission pages. i will try the latter.

... also, i think a sef url is being generated every time a submission form is submitted.

i discovered a trend in different real urls that may help you.
see 3 urls below:

index.php?option=com_zoo&layout=submission&view=submission&Itemid=296

index.php?option=com_zoo&layout=submission&submission_hash=a77e14c26562dcba76dcabd364df6332&submission_id=6&type_id=business&view=submission&Itemid=296

index.php?option=com_zoo&controller=submission&format=raw&task=loadtags&Itemid=296

THEY ALL HAVE 296.
i believe instead of all pointing to "example/submission" they should point to "example2/submission"

hope this makes sense. bottom line is that is it appears all submission forms and supporting urls are all pointing to the same sef url automatically. let me know if i can provide any more details.

cheers.
