Could you please check the field in other extensions' settings also?
Is it missing everywhere or just for JEvents?

You can use your Download ID in our Download area to get the extension, the problem is that to install extension from file, you need to unistall the existing first.
However, it should not be a problem - uninstalling an extension will not do anything, so you can simply do it and then install again from the freshly downloaded fike. Just maybe put your site offline while doing this.

No such Field for these extensions:
- Banners
- JEvents is listet two times, one time with Component "not installed" with date form 2008 and one time the JEvents MVC, that I already mentioned - in both not that field

yes, this field really is in these extensions:
- Contacts
- Content
- NewsFeeds
- Search
- WebLinks

hmmm, from the last five components mentioned, Content is the only one I use - maybe it has to do something with it? I'm using jSeblod CCK, that creates content - possibly, I'm not using Content too - do you think, it could be possible, that jSeblod works against JoomSef ?

That is strange. I think jSeblod should not be related to this (although I do not the component)., however, it is really hard to say.
Please, try to reinstall and let us know if it helped.

ok. I installed the extension new - it was really good working, nothing loose, it took less than a minute.
the field ist still not showing, but the install of the upgraded version now says is up to date. so in future I think I will uninstall and new install at every update...
