Hi,

I upgraded to the latest Joomsef this morning, and since, some pages are SEF'ing correctly and some aren't.

For example, I have an area on my site dedicated to CNN, and some articles are SEF'd and some aren't. This didn't used to be the case!

Examples;

www.newsonnews.net/cnn/3404-cnn-internat...ory-rules-again.html

www.newsonnews.net/index.php?option=com_...3Acnn&Itemid=420

It's randomly happening to some articles and not others across my whole site!

Common whats going on? I am really stressed about this.

worldbiz OFFLINE Posts: 13	It's stressing me too. If I add new articles, I don't know if they are going to sef or not, and then go to google news etc with the wrong url for when it's fixed!!! Argghhh!!!!

Hello,

this unfortunatelly occured due to a small typo in the filtering rules of content extension in last update (3.6.4). Filtering rules prevent URLs hacks and creation of duplicites by robots or attackers.

Make sure to check JoomSEF / Extenstion management / Content
and in the tab Variables filtering, check the rules;

Delete rule

+^[0-9]+(:[a-zA-Z._-]+)?$

and replace it by rule

+^[0-9]+(:[a-zA-Z0-9._-]+)?$

An reinstall at Upgrade page should solve this also.
