There is problem in bad referer. Cart is be generated so that there is backlink to referer page is being added to link add product/remove product etc... . But, when blocks are loaded dynamicly referer does not point to origin page but to "mturbofrontend" page which generates these blocks.

We fixed it previously for standard Magento sidebar cart block, but I'm not able tell you why it does not work for you. Maybe it is caused a your local changes of the source code.
