Having error message while installing the component

JFolder::create: Could not create directory
JInstaller::install: Failed to create directory. "/httpdocs/components/com_sef/sef_ext"
Message
Install Component Error

Cmod 777 (full write permission for the directory components)

Still cant create directory. Anyone know how to solve it?

Hello,

if permissions are 777, then it should be okay.
Has the creation of parent folder, ie. componentnets/com_sef succeeded? Please note that folder cannot be create unless parent folder exists.
Maybe the easiest would be to remove the unsuccesfull install, make sure the permisions on ALL parent dirs are okay and then repeat install procedure.
