This component rewrites Joomla! URLs to be Search Engine Friendly (SEF) and provides other Search Engine Optimization (SEO) tools. These include metadata autogeneration and management, sitemap generation, keyword lists, etc. Multilinguality (more language versions, translated URLs) is supported via tight cooperation with JoomFish. Upgrades will be easy and painless thanks to the new on-line update features. Extensive support of 3rd party components thanks to SEF Extension installer.
Version 3.x series nativelly supports Joomla! CMS version 1.5.x.
It is not backward compatible with Joomla! 1.0.x CMS.
