Had same problem but found that this error occurs in Joomfish langage selection module. If I unpublish the module the site works also correctly with last language selected.

No language translation in urls works fine for me too but expect some better solution.

I have a little question about cross links between contents. Before url rewriting I used to find the contents's url by item id but now that they are rewritten how do I now the new url of articles I just wrote ?
