I have version 2.3.1 and I try to upload and install .zip package. I got this message:

Warning
Warning: File /home/u33230/public_html/tmp/com_booking2.zip not uploaded for security reasons!

Error
Archive does not exist

Then I tried this method. Not working, got only some error message. No change to fire refresh process.

Download installation package from download area.
Unpack package on the disk of your computer.
Copy content of the folder admin into folder administrator/components/com_booking
Copy content of the folder site into folder components/com_booking
Select "Refresh Database" Control Panel -> Configuration -> Error Log
If Booking is completely blocked then you can fire the refresh process with the URL
your-domain/administrator/index.php?option=com_booking&controller=errors&task=refreshDatabase

What shoud I do?

We updated Book it to latest version 2.2.9 We still have same and new problems.
Calendars are not synced. There should be many days free at customer view. Back end view shows different days available.
I think the whole system is corrupted someway. I attach 2 pictures where you can see that it's all wrong. 6. to 7.july is free. When I click next month button the same day is booked. What is that?

Also the reservation site look is wrong after update. There is no pictures, € sign etc. You said it's matter of settings. I can not understand what should I change at settings.

Now I have lost coulpe of hundred euros because all errors of this booking system. Booking systems shows that almost all is booked and I have 3 pairs of cottage keys at table at the evening because customers can not make bookings.

I need quick help. I can give Joomla username and pw to you Artio crew. I really need this fixed.

This is not just one case. There is several other situations like this.
I have 2.2.4. version. When I tried to update latest version I had to do it unzipping files to server and then I managed to update. After that customer view went wrong. I had to install older version. I don't know what was going on. Maybe it was my template (what shoud follow all standars).

Anyway, I still need help with those "ghost" reservations.

I have serious problem.
Customer view shows that almost all items are full booked. That is not the truth. There is many days available.
Calendar is not synced correctly. This will cause that I can not rent items to customers and is total disaster to my business.

I need this fixed quickly because it's summer and I rent summer cottages.

I can give Joomla username and pw, if needed.

I attach 2 pictures where you can see the problem. Customer view shows there is only one day available 6.7. When I go to backend I sorted reservations by arrival date. So cottage number 5 there was customer 25 to 26.6. There is no customer coming 26.6. but is red and can not book it!

I have allowed same day booking.

I really hope you could help to resolve this problem.

Server guy told that maybe reason is long script running time. Now script max. running time is 60 seconds. They can increase time for PHP, if I pay 10 euros. Do you think does it help?

Now I got this error when trying to upgrade from artio server:

An error has occurred.
1060 Duplicate column name 'info' SQL=ALTER TABLE `gwfrc_booking_payment` ADD `info` TEXT NOT NULL AFTER `title`

I have serious problems with version 2.2.4.so I hope update would resolve some of those. But I can not update. I have valid download id. When try to update from Arto server I get error: "Internal Server Error

I have a problem. I just trashed one reservation 28.6.-13.7.2014.
When I look at calendar:

12 to 13.7. is red, so no one can book it!

When I look admistrator site I can not find anyone reserving it.

What is going on? I have same problem with another cottage.

Now I made new reservation 9.-12.7 and edited it to 9-13.7. So no problem. But without new reservation how can I get off those ghost days?

I or my customers can not make reservations. I can not select days. I click them but nothing happens.
I tried 3 browsers, erased browser history, refreshed databases.
This is critical problem for me.
I had this kind of problem a year ago, then I got some patch. Artio crew told that it was repaired for newer versions.
I hope for quick solution :)

Hi!

My webhotel doesn't have CPanel. I asked my webhotel guy what to do. He told you must talk about restoring backup before Joomla update. I copy-pasted this to him: "Run CPanel -> Configuration -> Error Log -- Refresh Database."

He doesn't understand what you mean. At basic database there is not thing called "refresh"?

I cleared all cache at Joomla. Didn't help.
Do you have any idea what to do? I still get error when trying to make a reservation.

How to go back to previous version?
I have maybe 10 reservations after I made a akeeba backup. I'll lost those.. so it's not a good idea. I hope Artio guys can get a fix soon, or tell what to do. I keep my thumbs up! :)
