Yes, it's totally reasonable that you don't give the support for third parties plugins, that why I really appreciate your attention.
I attached the config settings, I tried all the possible combinations... The non SEF var looks like this page=2, that why I used the page word, specially my problem is with pagination, on some places I fixed it manually, but it's not the best way...

I'm using J1.5.26 and ZOO 2.4.18
PHP 5.2.17

Should this also work in ZOO urls like this?
www.domain.com/zoocategory/?page=2

The idea is to have on all pagination pages the same canonical URL: www.domain.com/zoocategory

I tried it with a Yoonique plugin as I'm using that one, but there is some wrong var substitution, the and result is like this:
www.domain.com/zoocategory/2?page=2 - He is rendering both, SEF and non SEF var...
I'm wondering, should this even work, maybe I need the Artio's ZOO plugin for that?

The worst thing is that at the beginning it was working.... :/ And than the doble var error appeared and I'm not able to make it work...

P.S. The var was introduced in JoomSEF > Configuration > Advanced > Non-SEF URLs and variables

I have some custom made menu types. And of course they do not support SEF URLs... Al my site is working perfectly be sides 4 urls that look like this "".

Is there a possibility to make them SEF? I tried with custom URLs but no luck...

We run Zoo, Joomsef and the proper plugin.
The same Zoo page depending on how it is accessed, it may have a different dynamic url
For example, one of our pages has the 4 urls below:

>> index.php?option=com_zoo&item_id=119&task=item&Itemid=6
>> index.php?option=com_zoo&item_id=119&task=item&Itemid=1
>> index.php?option=com_zoo&item_id=119&task=item&Itemid=27
>> index.php?option=com_zoo&item_id=119&task=item&Itemid=4

Joomsef is creating 4 SEF urls
