I think you should submit the support ticket, and they check it on your web directly, It definitely creates the urls.

Is there a reason why you need .html in the url? in fact the trend is more like urls domain.com/manufacturer

you can always go to Sef URL management, click NEW, enter the old non-sef url and enter new url in the sef line to create whatever url you want

I have been solving this issue this week - when I had a menu item with Virtuemart category and specific manufacturer was selected, you need to enable this in JoomSEF - Manage Extensions - Virtuemart - Extension TAB:

then clear cache and joomsef should SEF the urls with manufacturers.

Btw. the support is now only provided when you log into your Artio account that you made when you purchased the license and there under support you can submit a ticket.

you should be able to update the url in SEF URL management to anything you want if you purchase the Virtuemart extension for JoomSEF. Only JoomSEF itself does not let you change the URLs within Virtuemart.
