ARTIO JoomSEF 3.9.2 Configuration file Writeable 12 years, 5 months ago #26200

Hello. I have a problem with configuration tab after upgrade from version 3.8.7 to version 3.9.2. Before upgrade everything was fine. Now i see only "ARTIO JoomSEF Configuration file Writeable" when try to choose this option. JCE editor is disabled. I need you help to solve this trouble.
My version
Joomla 1.5.25
ARTIO JoomSEF 3.9.2 + paid VirtueMart extension 2.0.39

Hi,
Use FTP and try renaming your /administrator/components/com_sef/configuration.php file to configuration.php.bak for example (so you have a backup). JoomSEF should then use the default configuration. Does it work then? If it does, try setting your original configuration one by one, to see if some of it caused the problem.

Hello and thanks for helping me, but this trick doesn't work. I get only message change to " ARTIO JoomSEF Configuration file Using Default Values" and blank page. Do you have any idea? I could give you my account details for solving problem at first hand.

Try enabling error reporting on your server to see if there's any problem encountered in PHP code. Why i should use to paid support if i use paid version of JoomSEF. It's very strangely. What is the necessary version of PHP for JoomSEF 3.9.2 ?

We don't have any other reports about this problem so it seems to be specific for your server. You had an option to test the free version prior to purchasing the paid one.
JoomSEF requires at least PHP 5.1.0, but PHP 5.2.x is recommended. Have you also tried opening the page in different web browser?
