Hello.

I'm trying to add a 301 redirect by seems not to work.

Moved from url: gr/proionta/proteinomena-proionta/lipantika-venzinokinitiron-seira-power
Moved to url: gr/proionta/lipantika-venzinokinitiron

It should work, shouldn't it?

Can you please help? It's urgent

Hi,
Yes it should work. Please make sure that original URL "gr/proionta/proteinomena-proionta/lipantika-venzinokinitiron-seira-power" is deleted from JoomSEF's database in Manage SEF URLs.

Hmmm...

That means that the "Moved from url" must not exist?

Then what i want to do is a little bit different.

I have one url: gr/proionta/proteinomena-proionta/lipantika-venzinokinitiron-seira-power
that i want whenever a user clicks on it to be redirected to: gr/proionta/lipantika-venzinokinitiron

But both urls are active. How can i do that?

Yes, it must not exist. We'll change this behaviour in some future version.

Currently to achieve what you want you need to use the .htaccess redirects:
1. open the Edit .htaccess page in JoomSEF
2. click on New in the toolbar
3. set:
Redirect from: /gr/proionta/proteinomena-proionta/lipantika-venzinokinitiron-seira-power
Redirect to: /gr/proionta/lipantika-venzinokinitiron
4. click Save & Close
