404 on JomEstate page after Joomsef install. 11 years, 3 months ago #36958

Got this error, so had to uninstall JoomSEF until I can figure it out (have edited .htaccess as per documentation).

Not Found

The requested URL /property/view/homepage/layout/latest.tpl was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Hi,

By default, the rules in .htaccess file don't handle URLs with the .tpl suffix as SEF URLs. Find the following line in your .htaccess file:
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} /component/|(/[^.]*|\.(php|html?|feed|pdf|vcf|raw))$ [NC]

and change it to:
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} /component/|(/[^.]*|\.(php|html?|feed|pdf|vcf|raw|tpl))$ [NC]
