All URLs are 404 - perhaps .htaccess issue? 12 years, 3 months ago #26594

hello,

I have a ARTIO 4.2.2 on a 1.6 or for 30 minutes a 1.7 Joomla system.
On both systems I got a 404 for every site accept the frontpage.

I my oppinion there must by .htaccess inserts for a SEF, but nothing is in there.
Perhaps this could be the problem?

Do you have other hints?

Hi,
Yes this looks like a .htaccess problem. You can rename the default Joomla's htaccess.txt to .htaccess, it should work correctly.

I was pretty shure there was an .htaccass in the root, but my new cute ftp had hidden the secured files so I didn't saw it and uploaded a new .htaccess.
I just realized it after a full restore of my site ;-)
