Problem with greek characters in title 12 years, 3 months ago #26973

I have upgraded to joomsef4 in a test environment running joomla 1.7 and I'm using Non-ASCII char replacements for greek characters.
What I have done is that I have copied all my settings from joomsef3 from live site running joomla 1.5

The problem I'm facing is that automatic title and meta tags are showing with ????? in place of greek characters.

This was not a problem with joomsef3 and joomla 1.5

How can I resolve this?
