problem with identical urls on different domains 10 years, 1 month ago #43341

My configuration:
Joomla 3.2.2
Php 5.3.28
Joomsef 4.5.1

I run a two language site with Joomsef set on different domains.
When the url is the same for both language Joomsef always rediretcs to only one of them.
Since I need these urls to be identical on both languages, is there a way to avoid this problem?

Hi, any news on this topic?

In the meanwhile I found out that the problem is originated by Joomsef cache. The problem doesn't occur until the identical urls are cached; also, disabling Joomsef cache (which of course is not reccomended) seems to solve the problem.

Any idea?

Hi Roberto,

I'm sorry for the late reply. You are correct, we've checked the issue and it is a bug in JoomSEF's cache, which currently can't handle the same SEF URLs on different domains.

We will fix this issues in next version of JoomSEF. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. In the meantime, please don't use JoomSEF's cache system.
