Hello all, I've been using joomsef for several years now and have just started upgrading my joomla sites to 1.6, therefore upgrading joomsef to 4.. now my problem is that the older versions of joomsef used to create category view urls somthing like this:
www.mydomain.com/category-name/

but the new joomsef 4 appends the page extension to it, so it looks like this:
www.mydomain.com/category-name.html

now before you tell me to turn off the appending extension to the pages, i need all the regular pages to have the .html, and because these are already well established sites, i cannot afford to lose ranking by changing the urls.

so i am looking for a solution other than going through all the sites and manually recreating the urls...
