TOPIC: 404 page not found if artio enabled?

404 page not found if artio enabled? 13 years, 8 months ago #14011

Hi Guys / Gals,

If i enable artio and also enable"Search Engine Friendly URLs" global site config i get a page 404 if i try to go to any pages / articles from the front page.. e.g www.worldwidescratchcards.com/demo-conte...-del-harris-retires.

If i disable "Search Engine Friendly URLs" the articles come up but it doesn't come with artio sef urls.

What do i need to do to get it so that artio works and returns a article without 404 and sef urls?

Thank you in advance :)

i managed to resolve it by changing htaccess.txt to .htaccess, BUT i have another issue. When i tyr to view an article it goes to the front page. I have tried doing this (www.artio.net/support-forums/joomsef-fre...msef-artical-problem) but it still goes to the front page no matter what i do. any suggestions?

Hi There,

the main url is: www.worldwidescratchcards.com/

Its weird cause it seems to be working now. Is there some sort of propagation time with this artio system at all?

JoomSEF uses cache to store frequently used URLs. But there can also be a cache in Joomla enabled, or if you use JoomFish it also uses cache for URLs and even browsers sometimes use cache, so it's possible that it took some time.
