Hello

In Manage Meta Tags:

Meta desciption and meta keywords are included (automatically generated by artio) but Meta Titles are all empty, is this normal?

I can add them manually but cant they be created automatically taking the name of the article?

Im using version 3.6.1
BTW in Global Joomla Configuration I turned cache ON, is this a bad idea?

Sorry for stupid questions but I have been reading FAQ's and forum and have not find this and im worried that without Meta Titles my articles cant actually be find by google.

My settings in Tab title and Meta tags configuration are all se to yes.

Thanks

This confuses me even more: www.artio.net/faqs/artio-joomsef/trouble...tag-is-not-generated

I had that setting to yes and title meta tags were NOT created.

Hello,

It is normal that there is no meta title generated for articles in JoomSEF. The meta title is generated only if you have "Add category to page title" option enabled in JoomSEF Content extension parameters, otherwise the title would be the same as the article title and Joomla alone can handle that. If you have the "Show Title Meta Tag" option enabled in Joomla Global Configuration, it should be present in your site source code. You can check it by right clicking on your site in browser and selecting Show sitename source code (or something similar).
Also the only important meta tag for google is the description meta tag, you don't need the title meta tag present in order to be indexed by google. You only need the <title> html tag present.

Best regards,
