OK, I have downloaded the module and installed it as outlined in the documentation. I have changed my .htaccess.txt file to .htaccess. I also verified the file is written just like it is shown in the documentation example... I am getting the Not Found

The requested URL /home-new/index.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

What wrong with this component? I am using version 1.0.11 the lastest version of Joomla...

probably you RewriteBase needs to be set differently than in example. You need to set this according to where you Joomla! installation is placed.

if your URL is e.g. joomla.artio.net you need RewriteBase set to /
if your URL is e.g. artio.net/joomla you need RewriteBase set to /joomla
...
