I am using
Joomla Version 1.5.14
JoomSEF v3.3.1
adsmanager plugin 2.0.4 1. July 2010

urls contain numbers like
www.mydomain.com/adsmanager/43-all-categ...order=0&expand=0

I have uninstalled com then plugin and purged and cleared cache but cannot seem to get this to work correctly

Any help greatly appreciated

Hello,

It seems that the URL is not processed by the AdsManager JoomSEF extension. Go to Manage Extensions page in JoomSEF, open the AdsManager extension parameters and on the Common tab make sure that Handling is set to "JoomSEF handler".

I had actually set the following to yes -
Add ad ID to URL
And
Add category ID to URL

Note -
in the common tab I only see
Itemid handling Use global config Override
Not - JoomSEF handler

And still see
?order=0&expand=0
at the end of the url for each category, although each item url looks great

I'm sorry, in the version 3.3.1 the setting is located at the bottom of JoomSEF's Configuration page.
Anyway, the order and expand are so called non-SEF variables, it is normal that they're added to the URL like this, although we could probably remove them if the zeroes are their default values. We'll try to check this and remove them from category links in next version of our AdsManager extension.
