Still having trouble. I have now purchased the paid version of Joomsef.

If someone is willing to look at the issue with docman and joomsef I'd be happy to provide login info. Docman is the only plugin I'm using from artio that isn't working properly. If I got that one working I'd be set. Well with the exception of my forum, but that'll be fixed when I do the conversion next month.

Is there any chance I can get a refund for my purchase? I haven't seen any benefit from paying for it. I need to get SEF url's working in all aspects of my site, so I guess it's time to try another option.
