Hello,

I am wondering if there is a way in your component (or maybe in joomla itself) to make it so the entire website has "www." before it and also removes "index.php" from the homepage url.

I want to ensure that no matter how people type in my homepage website url, they will be directed to:

www.mysite.com (in this exact format)

Is this possible?

what you want to achieve should be perfectly possible.

Removing index.php is not be a problem. This can be se in JoomSEF configuration (it is already off by default).
Second, you need to make sure you do not use fixed URL includin index.php in your template.

As regards using always www. before the URL, that can be ensurer in Apache configuration (or in .htaccess) by setting a rewrite rule. I am sure those have already been discussed in these forums, so maybe you can try search them.
