TOPIC: Menu items don't have .html

Menu items don't have .html 14 years, 1 month ago #11245

Hi, All the aticles in my site have the .html ext on it but for some reason the menu items don't.

highdesertpro.com/

Is there a setting i need to change to make a menu item like highdesertpro.com/local-business/ become: highdesertpro.com/local-business.html

Hello,

the URL "endings" are set globally on global JoomSEF configuration - see
JoomSEF / Confguration / tab Basic / File suffix.

This setting is global for all JoomSEF created URLs, so if you do not see it somewhere, then either a) it is some outdated cached version or b) the URLs are not processed by JoomSEF.

I have made the change in the JoomSEF configuration but the menu items still don't have the .html extension. I have cleared the cache and everything but still nothing. Any ideas?

Helllo,
then I would think the b) applies to you.
Are you sure the menu URLs are being generated by JoomSEF?
Can you give examples of the URLs both in their SEO and original non-SEF format?

After the last update some of my settings changed which i changed back now it all works...
