Hello,

go to the JoomSEF URL editor/viewer and filter for "homepage" only. Homepage is the page that has empty string "" as SEF URL. By editing/creating this record, you will be able to define metadata for the homepage.

I was trying to find the homepage which should be itemid=1 but this came up now

I optimized the table but cant find where this si coming from

looks like it was in session , closed browser and ok now, but U cant find homepage item id, I added new sef for homepage with new meta but that did not work

Hello,

One simple solution. Does not require any programming.
If you use Artio JoomSEF, go to its "Configuration" tab, "Title and Meta tags" and set "Enable Metadata generation" to "No".

That's all.
