Hi,

I am interested in the paid version of JoomSEF but before I buy have the following questions

My site = www.guru99.com

1. My site already has SEF friendly URL's . How will installing your component affect my site since there is no URL standard to enforce ?
2.Currently there are 2 variations of any link on my site
www.guru99.com/software-testing-introduction-importance.html and
guru99.com/software-testing-introduction-importance.html
Will your component enforce www ?
3.How can yoru component help me de-index many of the un-intended PDF files indexed by google ?
4.Will you caching system affect my BFquiz test component - www.guru99.com/loadrunner-test.html ? I would like to cache all the pages but one with quizes how is this possible ?

Please respond
Regards
kriru

Hello,

ad 1) the URLs generated by JoomSEF depend on how you configure it (core) + its extensions (for specific componnets, such as content, VM, ...); so there is no general answer to this; you can use ".html" suffix, but you do not have to if you do not want, etc.

ad 2) for good SEO, you should only use 1 variant; this can be enforced by JoomSEF, so e.g. the non-www will be always 301 redirected to www variant

ad 3) that is not its goal; if you do not want to index PDF files, you should use robots.txt file for that

ad 4) probably not, as we do not have extension for this component; so it depends, whether it has own SEF URL router or not;
for sure, if you do not want to SEF these URLs, you can set the componen to be ignored by JoomSEF
