i have one problem or better i have a question about the global META settings.

I have on my site for every url seperate META descriptions and keywords. I have also in the joomla settings in the global META description and global keywords entries.

My problem is now, if i search on google for my site for example "milow album sound-ecke" i get an result but i see as description the global META description and not the description i entered for the "milow" site.

So i think the global META description and keywords overwrite my URL meta description and keywords. Is this correct? If yes, i think i can delete the global description and keywords?

Please, can someone help me with this question.

please, check the settings of JoomSEF plugin.
It should be set to "override" Joomla default meta. Also make sure it is published.

If you still see Joomla global META overriding those you have set in JoomSEF, try experiementing with JoomSEF plugin ordering (generally the recomendation is that it is ordered first, but the might be other plugin present that will override the META back to defaults) and/or disabling some other plugins that might be interfering.

Also please make sure you are using last versions of everything, including Joomla.

the joomsef plugin was enabled and also the "overwrite" defalut meta.

I also puplishe the "standard" system - SEF plugin. is it nesseccary to disable this plugin?

no Joomla core SEF plugin does not interfere.
But it might be interesting, what versions your are using, Joomla especially. (but also JoomSEF)

At the moment i use

joomla 1.5.14
JoomSEF 3.3.4

i know it is not "up to date" but i at the moment i have no time to update the system. Is this really the problem with the META ?
