I tried to upgrade my free version 2.3 to the paid version (com_joomsef2.zip) and got an error message:

This package does not contain any upgrade informations.

Please advise.

Please make sure the installation package can be unziped correctly - may it has been corrupted during download.
If that seems okay, try to check permissions in your media directory and make sure it is writeable.
If upgrade still does not work, please, try installing it on freash Joomla installation instead of upgrade.
