I recently had a major problem installing VM Invoice.

I had the VM Invoice create search indexes and it crashed my entire site which could not connect to the database. We have a lot of users so this could have caused it to crash.

I had to uninstall the component and also remove the 3 database tables which has fixed a lot of the site. However the site still seems a little slower than before and I have been getting farm more errors in the error_log.

I wonder what this scrip does when you have it create search indexes. Does it do any irreversible changes to the database? Should I restore a previous version as it was unsuccessful?

So what does that script do?

Can somebody please respond!

I noticed something else about this script. It reduced my database size from 220mb to 89mb!!! What does this script do? It has been 5 days now since I posted here. I had to restore a backup of my site and lost almost 2 weeks of data.

Can somebody please respond. Is there any other way to get support from you guys?

I second that. I installed it and it began hanging when I tried to access Invoice / Manage orders so I uninstalled it. After uninstalling it I decided to delete the three tables associated with it and it crashed my site.

Noone ever responded to me. I had to do a complete restore of my website because it changed my database, deleting the tables did not work to fix the site, it continued to crash when I did that. I have no idea what that script did.

I suggest if you are having similar problems as I had to do a complete restore.
