I tried your suggestions but without success. For now, I've set up a separate Joomla installation with which to work on the templates before importing them into the main site.

I eventually got back in to the admin back end by enabling plg_authentication_joomla. This doesn't make me feel too confident about J3 as I thought the Joomla login problems had been resolved. At least with J1.5 anyone could log in :-)

I tried to follow your advice but can't access the advanced tab as I'm just using the free version. I've previously used SH404SEF and am trying out JoomSEF for the site rebuild.

Thanks for your suggestions - I quite understand that it's hard to find the answer without being able to actually access the site.

I can't try your ideas at the moment as I can't get into the admin back end, the login just giving a warning with no message. The front end is fine and the other Joomla installations on the same server have no problem. When I get it working again I'll give it a try and post the result.

Sorry, I'm only using it on WampServer, not on the main site which is still J1.5.

As Template Creator is only a development tool, if it comes to it I can just use it on a separate installation without JoomSEF. If you can think of an answer I'd greatly appreciate it as it would be nice to have it working with JoomSEF - but it's not a disaster if there is no solution.

Sorry, I was a bit vague there :-)

I'm using Joomla 3.3.1 on WampServer 2.2, with JoomSEF 4.5.2.

I removed all extensions and Template Creator then worked again. I then re-installed until it stopped and so tracked the conflict as being with JoomSEF.

When I try to edit/create a template from the templates list I get:-

With JoomSEF default handler - "Error displaying the error page: Application Instantiation Error: No database selected SQL=DELETE FROM `rn9cr_session` WHERE `time` < '1405612033'"

With Default Joomla! router or Don't SEF - the next couple of pages/pop-ups open and it shows the template for editing but the timer just goes round.

At times, I'm not sure why, I have managed to configure something and get past the timer, but then none of the links on the template page work, including the one to close it.

Hi,

When I instal JoomSEF, the already installed JoomlaCK Template Creator stops working. Changing the handling for the component, purging and clearing the cache does not fix it.

Any ideas?
