There is definately a Calendar error with ARTIO Booking. I wonder if it is in the language files language/en-GB/en-GB.com_booking.ini and they have:

SUNDAY = Monday or something silly like that?

Also I found this post www.parabellus.co.uk/using-noconflict-fix/

I wonder if the answer lies in there becuase the only other area in the code you posted that I would consider looking into is in the layouts:template.config.php or just config.php file.

I know some templates also call a head.php file which controls the stuff inside the <head> tags.

I have used a template before where the main template "index.php" page was inside another folder:



In fact when I went to the templatename/index.php file all the code I was greeted with was:

This is how I knew to find the yjsg_main.php file.

Go back into the /layouts/template.php file and see if there is a call similar to the one above that will tell you what file to update or
go back to the developer of the template and ask them what .php file controls the home page layout?

Me again I forgot to mention to that to start the days of the week from monday instead of sunday this is in the ARTIO Booking/Configuration under "Calendars". Here is a screenshot of mine:

I am sorry for not replying earlier I have been away.

I added the script 2nd after the opening <head> tag:



This is the Template index.php page not the primary Joomla index.php found in root.

For example structure inside my Templatename/ folder is
Templatename/css
Templatename/html
Templatename/images
Templatename/js
component.php
favicon.ico
index.html
index.php - this is the file you need to add the <script type="text/javascript">jQuery.noConflict();</script> to
template_preview.png
template_thumbnail.png
templatedetails.xml

Try adding the script in notepad first, upload new index.php to server and clear cache - both in Joomla and your web browser and if it doesn't stick go through Joomla's Template Manager
- select "Templates" and "Template Files"
- select "edit main page template"
- scroll down the code to where the opening <head> tag is and enter the script there.

I really do hope that this helps you because I know how hard it is to get support out of ARTIO when its template related. Have you tried switching to a different template and testing if the problem still remains? If it is template related there is not much to do besides forum trolling. I am a web designer myself and I know how stressful it is so i hope it all works out for you.

So you can provide the files again with the duplicate paths removed?

I don't see why I have to wait till the next release? this is a major problem for the checkout process and breaks my site if I try to use it?

Hi Noel,

I just went to your site and was able to select the date? Have you cleared your cache? Maybe it only took a little bit of time to rite itself?

Tried the patch. It needs more work.

Firstly, after my payment was sucessfully processed by Paypal and I was sent to the "You are now being re-directed to store name..." the URL it sent me back to was a Page Not Found error. This is becuase the website address is duplicated in the URL. I am testing this on my local server. The URL address used is :

localhost/inhousecomputingservices/inhou...c4c22c6664febdd7f27b

as you can see the url contains the website name twice "/inhousecomputingservices/inhousecomputingservices/"

so knowing what I know about Joomla I removed one of the /inhousecomputingservices/ and was sent to the following page - which still has errors:



"Unable connect to server www.sandbox.paypal.com. Is impossible to verify your payment."

However when I check my sandbox.paypal buyer and seller accounts the transaction went through sucessfully so I;m afraid this patch still needs work.

Can I expect a response from you within 2-3 days this time?

Thank for the fix, the problem of testing paypal is now resolved but why I had to wait 2 weeks for this is beyond me?

Also I tested this and now a new problem has occured and I raised a forum request about it 3 days ago when I tested paypal live (gave up on waiting for this) please see my other thread #30693

When I the payment is complete and the customer is returned back to my store there is an error message "Your payment wasn't verified by server PayPal" but the transaction was sucessful? i.e money debited from customer and deposited into business owners account? So why am I getting this error is the payment was sucessful?

Is it becuase i do need to include the API from paypal in the "Code" box?

Please reply urgently as I am going live with this site today and I need this issue resolved - given that I have waited over 2 weeks for this reply.

I am a PAID Customer. Order Number: 00023850

It has been over 2 weeks since I posted about Artio Bookit not operating in sandbox mode for Paypal transactions so I gave up on even trying (not at all impressed) so I am just testing Paypal transactions between myself and my clients live paypal accounts and I have discovered yet another bug that needs urgent attention. Please see the screenshot.



Even though the payment was processed by Paypal there is still an error message at the top saying "Your payment wasn't verified by server PayPal"

Please look into this issue urgently as I have waited so long for my initial Paypal issue to be resolved which still remains unanswered and we are going live with this site this week I cannot delay any longer!

The problem isnt in Control Panel settings - see the attached screenshot.



I have created a sandbox testing email address - as you can see on the screenshot and have selecting Testing Mode but when I am in the frontend of the site and create a booking and click on the paypal button I am directed to the www.paypal.com LIVE site to pay not the www.sandbox.paypal.com site as is supposed to happen in testing mode which suggested to me there is a problem in the PHP code and whether you selectin testing mode or not it goes only to the LIVE paypal site not the testing site.

Also is there supposed to be a value in the "Code" box?

Please login to my site and try to make a booking and you will see what I mean.

Thanks for the fix, but I should mention if anyone else has this problem that the CSS property to look for is different to the one provided.

You will find the CSS property to change inside the general.css file inside:

/components/com_booking/assets/css/general.css

Then the CSS property to look for is:

.payments .payment {}

There is no #adminForm in front.

Once I added the float property it worked fine.

Hi,

I am a Paid customer. order number: 00023850

I am currently testing payment with Paypal - I have testing mode selected as yes, have created my sandbox test buyer and merchant accounts but when I try to login on Paypal sandbox site, it is not allowing me to use my sandbox username and passwords?

When I check the URL it is taking me to the live site of paypal "www.paypal.com" not "www.sandbox.paypal.com" which is why my logins are being rejected.

This is even though I have configured the payment option in TESTING MODE.

Please advise urgently on the fix for this as.

I am a Paid customer, order number: 00023850.

During testing I have found that even though the payment is not made/received with Paypal, the reservation is stored and a reservation confirmation is sent to the customer?

Is there a setting I need to change to ensure that reservations are ONLY made once payment has been completed through Paypal? Or is this only an issue in the testing mode?
