I am a Paid customer, order number: 00023850.

During testing I have found that even though the payment is not made/received with Paypal, the reservation is stored and a reservation confirmation is sent to the customer?

Is there a setting I need to change to ensure that reservations are ONLY made once payment has been completed through Paypal? Or is this only an issue in the testing mode?

Hello, there is no such functionality. It's difficult because reservation system need ID of reservation to send to PayPal and recognise reservation after PayPal response.
