Versions:
Joomla - 2.5.4
ARTIO JoomSef - 4.2.6
FaLang - 1.1.3

Issue:
After configuring FaLang and then ARTIO, the site started ignoring chosen language. I have the main language set to German and have a secondary one - English. It looks like following:
- I open the link "example.com" and being automatically redirected to "example.com/de";
- All content is being shown in English;
- All links are being generated in German, like: example.com/de/general/name-of-article ;
- FaLang shows that currently active language is English;
- When I try to change the language to German, by using FaLang dropdown menu, the action is being ignored.

I tested several types of configuration. I know about purging URLs and clearing ARTIO + Joomla cache.

Here is my current configuration:
1.

2.

Hi,
Try enabling the "Always use language" option on the Language tab in JoomSEF's Configuration.
If that doesn't help, it could be caused by a bug we found in current version. In that case, please wait for next version to be released. It should be released during next week.

Thank you very much for the prompt response. Unforutantely, enabling of the option "Always use language" did not help.

I will be waiting for the next version. Hope it helps.

The issue is fixed in 4.2.7. Thank you for your excellent support!

One minor bug left, unfotunately. I have disabled the option "Always use language?" to have the link of main page look like "example.com" without "/de". But the main page is always being redirected to "example.com/de". I tried fixing it by changing SEF url from "de" to empty - did not help.

Can this be fixed by some option or is it a bug? If it is a bug, just let me know, as this issue is not critical, but I will be waiting for your next release to have it fixed.

JoomSEF 4 currently doesn't support SEF URLs without the language code for main language. The "Always use language?" option means that the lang variable will not be present in the non-SEF URL stored in JoomSEF's database.
Support for SEF URLs without language code for main language is already on our requested features list.
