[SOLVED] URL shows info which is not usefull 11 years, 1 month ago #38507

Hello, I have the problem that our urls shows information xxxxxxxxx.de/kurse-termine/article/9
But we do not want the /article/9 information. Where can I change the behavior of JoomSEF. I have already tried to change that in Manage Extensions/-SEF Extension/-Content. but I have did not found the right setting.

Hi,

In the Manage Extensions -> Content parameters make sure that on the Common tab you have the Handling set to JoomSEF handler.
After the change, use JoomSEF's URLs Manager to delete the already created URLs so they can be recreated with the new settings.

thanks for your reply, after I have done this I have the categories in the url. I would attach an image of my settings, but the function do not work. The url of our website is www.diebeautyakademie.de

Hello,

now my URL look like that: diebeautyakademie.de/kursbeschreibung/un...ausbildung-grundkurs

But it should look like: diebeautyakademie.de/kursbeschreibung/ku...ausbildung-grundkurs

In the extensions manager (Exclude categories from article links) I have wrote: uncategorised, but it doesnt work :(

Did you have any Idea?

You need to delete the already created SEF URL using JoomSEF's URLs Manager after making changes in settings for the new options to take effect. Have you done this after adding the uncategorised category to exclude list?
