Maybe this probleme has already been much discussed here.

I have a new website:

Joomla! 2.5.8
VM: 2.0.18a
JoomSEF: 4.4.1
VirtueMart JoomSEF 4 Extension.

After installation (default), the JoomSEF generated New SEF URL the with the prefix "your-profile/" as in this example:

Old Non-SEF Url: index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=productdetails&virtuemart_category_id=17&virtuemart_manufacturer_id=5&virtuemart_product_id=107

New SEF URL: your-profile/celulares-e-smartphones/motorola/motokey-mini-ex109-rosa

Old Non-SEF Url: index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=productdetails&virtuemart_category_id=17&virtuemart_manufacturer_id=5&virtuemart_product_id=95

New SEF URL: your-profile/celulares-e-smartphones/motorola/razr-xt925-hd
