I have the same problem - with enabled joomsef I cannot edit pages via jce frontend editor. Clicking the edit-button throws an 404. Tried several configurations but nothing worked. Even JCE Administration plugin set to "Don't sef".

Hi,
I don't get any 404 page or home redirect on my page. Instead of 404 there is a browser message of a never ending redirect of website. This happens with AND without having option of customized 404 page enabled.

please try it here: www.wwv-online.de/de/fachoberschule.html (page from previous existing joomla 1.5 installation - not existing anymore -> should show 404 or redirect to new joomla 1.6 home).

Tried a lot now but didn't find an answer - maybe somebody can give me the clue? :)
