On our website at least 50781 urls in my JoomSEF SiteMap.

But google sayes that sitemaps should be no larger than 10MB in length and can contain a maximum of 50,000 urls.

This means I need to creat mulitply XML sitemaps, how do I do this?

For some reason my home page is being redirected to 404 when using Firefox. It is OK in IE.

If I turn off global SEF then it works fine, although the web address for the home page is www.phillipsprint.co.uk/404 in Firefox.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have already diabled the "cookie check" in VM and it made no difference.

I have exported some products using CSVI, and looked at the product details and the "product_url" is correct, the only thing I came to which I don't understand is "product_parent_id" which is set to 0?

After looking at several urls, it looks like they are being created by bots (Googlebot, Baiduspider) etc.

My question is why are these bots creating new URL's and why they not usinging the correct url in JoomSEF.

in the self URL it is a pritt stick, but in the trace information it mentions treasury tags!!!!

Can you help me decipher it please.

99.9% of my products are in 1 catagory only with around 20,000+ products. I have around 30 different top level catagories.

JoomSEF is auto-creating URL's to the wrong top level catagory so I am having to delete all the wrong urls so that it can re-create the correct URL's

For some reason all my products are listed correctly and all in 1 category

i.e.
www.domain\category x\category y\Products a-d
www.domain\category s\category t\Products e-g
www.domain\category b\category c\Products h-z etc...

But I am also getting all products in 1 category

www.domain\category s\Products a-z
If anyone can please tell me how to stop all the products listing in 1 category I would be most grateful.

For some reason JoomSEF is creating a load of duplicate URL's.

If you delete or disable and "don't SEF" all the URL's with 0 Hits in the Duplicates tab.

Now recreate your sitemap ad your 303 errors should of disappeared.

The question is why is JoomSEF icreating a load of duplicate URL's

Since I upgraded early on this year, I have been getting the same error.

URLs not followed
When we tested a sample of URLs from your Sitemap, we found that some URLs redirect to other locations. We recommend that your Sitemap contain URLs that point to the final destination (the redirect target) instead of redirecting to another URL.

Any ideas or help please.
