I wanted to try out the free version and having an issue uploading through Joomla installer. I get the message:

There was an error uploading this file to the server.

I've uploaded other extensions so it can't be permissions or something like that.

I've been trying to get this to work as well. I go into the admin and check all the boxes to select URL's. When I generate the sitemap.xml file it has no information only this:

<urlset xmlns:xsi="www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="www.sitemaps.org/schemas/sitemap/0.9 www.sitemaps.org/schemas/sitemap/0.9/sitemap.xsd" xmlns="www.sitemaps.org/schemas/sitemap/0.9">
</urlset>

I've even tried checking the boxes in the "Indexed" column with no difference.

All the other extensions work great. Love the component!
