I have tried several similar joomla componenets and get stuck at the same point. I want to present the downloadable files as a simple list. One file per line, no extra spaces and padding... and with just the file name as a clickable link instead of having the download button. Not being a programmer I have not been able to figure out which css file or php file or whatever I would need to edit... nor how to edit it to accomplish this.

None of the components seem to offer much in the way of changing the display of the files available. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
