no category name in entry URL for Sobi Pro

no category name in entry URL for Sobi Pro 11 years ago #38645

HEllo,

i have purchased joomsef and the sobi pro extension for joomsef -

i have the categories as desired -but I don't want the category name in the entry URL

i just want:

<site>/<entry-name>

currently I am getting <site>/<category>/<entry-name>

Please help - I dont clearly understand '1st part, 2nd part etc'

quick followup - i am able to get rid of the category in the entry url - but it give me 404 page not found -- when the category urls load

this is by selecting 'no' on 'add category to URL'

Hi,

Make sure that you cleared Joomla's and JoomSEF's caches if you use them, and also check caching settings in SobiPro's configuration, to make sure that the URL is not cached somewhere.
