That depends on what you call custom mod..

I have only edited the div class for the component wich makes the manuf module look the same as the category module.

No hardcoded stuff..

-------

One side question though, is it possible to have the product name AND the sku in the page title?

I've probably found a problem. If you set some category ID for your VirtueMart menu item, the manufacturers module adds it to URL and our extension can't handle it. Check if you have the Category ID set to 20 in your VirtueMart menu item and if you don't need it, try removing it.
We'll update our VirtueMart extension to handle this case in next version. Thank you for your patience.

Our VM extension doesn't support adding the product SKU to page title currently. We'll consider implementing it to next version too.

I will check into the product category.

Maybe this will help considering it..

The productname along the product sky will help users get unique titles and that is good for seo...

Some name of some products can be the same..

Yup its the menu id..

I have set up a seperate menu option for our customers to go to our specials, and this uses a category id...

I have deleted this menu item and the sef urls work :D:D

Thanks...

Is there a way to have this menu option and have the urls still available?

Or is this a technical problem or so??..
--------
There is only one problem now..

When i click on the manufacturer the home page screen shows up instead of the manufacturer page..

i think there might be something with the itemid...

We'll need to update our extension's code to work correctly.
You need at least one VirtueMart menu item, so VirtueMart can create URLs with correct Itemid. If you have, try deleting the manufacturers URLs in JoomSEF and clearing the caches, maybe there was something old left.

Ok, ill wait for your update...

I have tested it and when i publish the menu item, the manufacturer urls will not generate properly.

to explain clearly:

I have got the mod_virtuemart_manufacturers set up on my home page..

I have category wich hold my sales offers..

Its itemid is 22.

When i create a menu option with the item id, the manufacturers module will take the name of the categorie, wich is Aanbiedingen, so if i click on a manufacturer the sef url will be /aanbiedingen-1 or /aanbiedingen-2 for another, but it does take the correct page, but still a incorrect page title.

When i unpublish the menu option, the sef url of the manufacturers will be created properly as the name of the manufacturer, but the page wont load, it only loads the home page, but it does load the correct page title...
