Hi,
I have just installed the 4.0.2 version on Joomla 1.6. It installed successfully and I see the SEF URLs and all getting generated. However when I am trying to install the community builder extension using the "Get Extension" button under "Manage Extensions", I see the following error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method JXMLElement::getElementByPath() in <path>/administrator/components/com_sef/adapters/sef_ext.php on line 54

Even when I try to install using the Joomla installer I get the same error. Line 54 of sef_ext.php is:
$name =& $this->manifest->getElementByPath('name');

Please help.

Guyz does no one knows the solution? I am not able to install any extensions because of this issue.

I have the same problem with Jomres extension.

It's clearly a bug...

I hope someone can provide a quick fix as currently I am not able to install any extension...

I am not able to take full advantage of JoomSEF because of this issue. All components etc are not able to use SEF URLs properly. Is there no one who is facing this issue or does have a solution?

I got this to with joomsef 4.0.4, joomla 1.6.3 when installing a plugin
