TOPIC: how to not cache header and static blocks

how to not cache header and static blocks 11 years, 4 months ago #34097

Hi,
I am more than interested in buying the full version but there is one nogo that I have with the installed free version.
I actually do think a lot of people have this issue.

As I use a custom theme I have some dynamic things:

1) header: here I have a custom shopping card implemented. On cached pages/categories it always shows 0 items in cart of course becaus eits cached. Is there any possibility to not cache the header?

2) static blocks: The navigation is calling static blocks which themselves load a custom function from my file random_products.phtml which loads a random product image. How can I tell M-Turbo not to cache those so they are really generated randomly like the random_products file says?

regards,

Hello Monchichi,

We thanks you for your interest. The dynamic blocks are specifiable on "Dynamic loaded blocks" tab in the M-Turbo administration, they are specifiable by name in layout.

Unfortunately, it very depends on the custom theme. The best way to check this functionality is the installing demo version and settings it on a develop site.

If you had a problem with settings we would help you.
