If I try to add another email in VM it errors.
Please explain how to accomplish this.

Alternatively I can alter the code of vminvoice at the point of sending out an email to hardcode the delivery note, if you can tell me which pages that happens in.

Please advise as this is now going on too long.

the place to change this in VM Invoice would be in
administrator/com_vminvoice/helpers/vminvoice.php in methiod sendMail starting at line 141.

As regards editing the email in VM , you would probably need to enter it directly in configuration or DB as VM GUI seems to block it. (you could also use a mail forwarding at mail layer)
