Or, if it would help, I have my php.ini file on my local machine. Got it by ftp and can send that to you. Not sure if it is safe to post it in the open.

thank. Ok, I believe that could be the problem. Try it with the magic_quotes_gpc set to OFF.
This feature is deprecated anyway - see php.net/manual/en/security.magicquotes.php

OK, I went into my php,ini file via ftp and disabled magic quotes. However, when I go back to the Joomla php settings tab, it still shows as on. To my knowledge, I only have one php.ini file and I am sure I made the change properly. Any suggestions?

I got it figured out. I finally got Magic Quotes turned off and all is working as expected. Thank you for the help!
