JoomSEF 4 is a new generation of Joomla SEO component for generating SEF URLs and managing metadata.
Version 4 was developed to be compatible with latest Joomla CMS - version 1.6/1.7/2.5. Due to a different API, it is not backward compatible with Joomla 1.5 or older versions.
If you want to support JoomSEF 4 further development, please purchase a paid version.
This component rewrites Joomla! URLs to be Search Engine Friendly (SEF) and provides other Search Engine Optimization (SEO) tools. These include metadata auto-generation and management, sitemap generation, keyword lists, etc. Multilinguality (more language versions, translated URLs) is supported via tight cooperation with JoomFish. Upgrades will be easy and painless thanks to the new on-line update features. Extensive support of 3rd party components thanks to SEF Extension installer.
Version 3.x series natively supports Joomla! CMS version 1.5.x.
It is not backward compatible with Joomla! 1.0.x CMS.
This free version adds backlink to the component authors to a site footer. To have the link removed, please, get a paid version. To get support with more complex or individual cases, you can buy support time.
