JoomSEF is licensed under a partially-free licence that allows you to copy and disctribute the publicly available version. You are also allowed to modify it for your needs, but you are not allowed to distribute such modified version further.
Licence Conditions Summary
There exist two versions of ARTIO JoomSEF - free that contains sponsor links and paid that is ad-free. The licencing consitions differ sligly.
Free JoomSEF (with sponsor links) and free plugins
- you are ALLOWED to copy and distribute it freely
- you are ALLOWED to use it on as many servers and domains as you need
- you are ALLOWED to do modifications to code for your own needs
- you are NOT ALLOWED to distribute customized versions without ARTIO approval
Paid JoomSEF (ad-free) and paid plugins
- you are NOT ALLOWED to copy or distribute it
- your are ALLOWED to use it on ONE domain only - you need extra licence per each domain
- you are ALLOWED to do modifications to code for your own needs
- you are NOT ALLOWED to distribute any customized versions
The same conditions apply to plugin modules (extensions) for JoomSEF that are also distributed as free or paid.
Multilicenses (volume discounts) and Server Licenses
If you need more licenses of paid JoomSEF version, we offer colume discounts. If you are a running a server or are a webdesign company needing 20 or more JoomSEF licenses, you may also be interested in Server License.
