ARTIO JoomSEF 4 is a new generation of Joomla SEO component for generating SEF URLs and managing your CMS pages' METAdata in Joomla CMS.
Version 4 was developed to be compatible with currently prepared new Joomla CMS generation - Joomla version 1.6. Due to a different API, it is not backward compatible with Joomla 1.5 or older. For versions of Joomla 1.5.x, use JoomSEF 3 or if still using Joomla 1.0.x, use JoomSEF 2.
SEF URLs also in Joomla 1.6
JoomSEF 4 is the first SEO component for Joomla available, that also supports Joomla 1.6. As Joomla 1.6 is still in BETA quality, also the JoomSEF has BETA status and momentarily it does not support as many 3rd party component as JoomSEF 3 or 2. The support for the 3rd party components will be added as soon as their Joomla 1.6 compatible versions will be released. This includes e.g. VirtueMart, JoomFish and many others.
